Religion like Law is open to interpretetions. Every living
soul on the land has his or her opinion about the religion
and after all what religion actually is a way of life, a
guide line to spend the small life time in a fulfilling way.
None of us actually know what the situations in the forming
years of the religions were,
as we have only read what's rote, or has been passed on as
word or legacy generation after generation. Or what
those people had on their minds, we never know what we
are understanding is correct or not ;;
any ways none of the religions, as they say, is complete in itself.
and hence there's nothing wrong if one says that "there are as many
religions as there are people on this planet-- may be six
billion as on date -- to be statistically correct".
The followers of the religions are actually the interpreters, and
some don't even bother to understand, it's again a way
of living.
Problem arises when the religion actually becomes
law and the INTERPRETER tries to become the jury and pushes
his decisions down others throat. Our rights: rights to express
follow, are like parallel lines, some skewed, like circles which
should not intersect each other, which means that it is
my duty to protect your right and not let my circle bother you.
And then we see the radicals ( Radical in chemistry means, and rightly so:
An atom or group of atoms with at least one unpaired electron; in the body it is usually an oxygen molecule that has lost an electron(stability) and will stabilize itself by stealing an electron from a nearby molecule) in the society, making the
religion a law, a binding on every body which if they not
follow will not survive.

Very true....."The Tao that can be told is untrue" is the first line of Tao-Te Ching....by Lao Tzu....., scriptures and words can be manipulated, it is only the experience which cannot !!!.......The supreme religion can only be experienced not told...
